Brief Biography
Born in 1976 in Messina, Gianclaudio Marino graduated in Material Engineering at the University of Messina in 2002. During the thesis work, focused the attention on two topics: the mechanical characterization of polymerics systems nanocomposites and mathematical models defining the mechanical proprieties of polymers-nanofillers. From April of 2003 he works in a world-wide leader company that produces irrigation systems. The main roles covered are: processing engineer, coordinator of the activity of the laboratory control quality and research, product engineer of some lines of products, responsible for purchase and modernization of productive systems, responsible of production logistic.
From February 2006, believing in innovative plans that Civen (Coordinamento Interuniversitario Veneto per le Nanotecnologie) carry on, he joined to the existing group of researchers. His job is centralized on development of polymeric system nanocomposites to improve mechanical proprieties, gas barrier effect, advanced functional application, thermal stability, flame properties. |
